Dr. Roopa Ravindran lives and breathes the harmony of art, spirituality, and service. With over two decades of dedicated work, she brings devotion alive through every movement—celebrating Bharat's timeless cultural and spiritual essence.
Holding a Doctor of Literature (D.Litt.) in Dance and Spirituality, an M.A. in Bharatanatyam, and a B.A. in Kathak and Choreography, she seamlessly unites tradition and innovation in her holistic approach to artistic learning.
She received rigorous training in Kathak under the esteemed guidance of Guru Dr. Maya Rao and Pt. Rajendra Gangani, and completed her Bharatanatyam Arangetram under the mentorship of Guru Dr. Suparna Venkatesh.
As the Founder and Chairperson of EARTHA Charitable Trust and Principal of EARTHA College of Performing Arts (affiliated with Bengaluru City University), Dr. Roopa envisions a modern Gurukul where art, nature, and wisdom flourish in harmony.
A Doordarshan Graded Artist, Governor's Award recipient, and State-level Kathak Winner, she continues to inspire through her creative productions, teaching, and sacred journeys—including the Kailash–Manasarovar Yātra and the 12 Jyotirlinga Darshans.
